2. Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data to provide and optimize the website and to handle your inquiries (contact form/quick inquiry). Legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract/initiation), Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in secure and efficient provision of this website) and, if applicable, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) where you provide it.
3. Contact form & email delivery (SMTP)
If you contact us via the contact form or quick inquiry, we process the data you provide (e.g., name, email, message, company/phone if applicable) to handle your request. Emails are sent via an external SMTP service. Required metadata is transmitted to the email server for delivery. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
We store inquiries as long as necessary for processing and evidence purposes. Longer retention only applies if legal retention obligations exist.
4. Server logs
The host of this website collects, among other things, IP address, date/time, requested URL, referrer, and user agent in log files. Processing is for technical operation and defense against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. Analytics with Matomo
We use Matomo for statistical analysis. Cookies may be used and pseudonymous usage profiles created. Your IP address is processed in shortened form. Data is processed exclusively on systems commissioned by us. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in analytics) or, if configured, your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
6. Data processing agreement (DPA)
We provide a GDPR-compliant data processing agreement (DPA) for all variants (cloud and on‑premise).
7. Recipients & third-country transfers
Data is transferred to third parties only where necessary for contract fulfillment or due to legal obligations. Transfers to third countries generally do not occur unless required for service delivery and appropriate safeguards under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR exist.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
9. Obligation to provide data
Providing personal data is required to use the contact form. Without this data, we cannot process your request.
10. Data security
We take technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, destruction, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
11. Changes
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy to reflect current legal requirements or changes to our services.
